Marco Marro, Head of Food and Beverage at The Merchant Hotel in Belfast welcomes Dogarina Prosecco supplied by Thomas Soliman of GreatVine (or as some call him ‘The Merchant of Venice’) as the new house Prosecco for his prestigious Hotel.
Having worked and lived amongst the finest Prosecco producers in Italy for many years, Thomas Soliman knows good Prosecco and we’re happy to say that Marco Marro completely agreed with his selection on first tasting the Dogarina Extra Dry DOC Treviso Millesimato having scored it 10 out of 10 during the tasting.
GreatVine believe this praise is entirely justified, but most especially when coming from a native Italian. It seems many other hospitality businesses in Northern Ireland agree with Marco too, as every guest at the recent tasting event hosted by GreatVine, submitted orders for the Dogarina Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Dry Millesimato and the grand cru equivalent of Prosecco, the Dogarina DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene Brut.
GreatVine also offer training for their customers, so that consumers will eventually be educated to appreciate a quality Prosecco. Thomas comments “It is an Appellation in its own right, just like champagne therefore people should know what they are buying. As always, the Merchant Hotel believes their customers deserve nothing but the best and we are really delighted to be able to supply this prestigious 5 star Hotel with our Prosecco. We know their customers are going to love it!”.
